FUNKY MAMA BIOGRAPHY Krista “Funky Mama” Eyler is an energetic, guitar-playin', sweet-singin' mom. Formerly an Emmy-nominated on-air reporter for Kansas City’s ABC affiliate KMBC-TV, Krista left the hectic newsroom to embrace motherhood and to create interactive, original rock n' roll for children and their parents.
Funky Mama blends rock n' roll, bluegrass, country gospel, funk, and fun on her high-energy concerts. Funky Mama earned her stage name after competing in a karate tournament. (Krista Eyler is a black belt in American Karate/Bushidokan.)
