Blending New Orleans funk, Memphis soul, Hammond organ drenched gospel, with the occasional disco and hip-hop beat for good measure, the Sugar Free Allstars present a truly “funky fresh” sound that families love! A Sugar Free Allstars concert provides 45 minutes of fun, rhythm heavy songs that encourage a high level of audience participation. Sugar Free AllStars

Sugar Free Allstars is Chris (Boom!) Wiser (lead vocals, keyboards, saxophones and bass clarinet) and Rob (Dr. Rock) Martin (vocals and percussion) a duo that has been making funky-fresh music for families for five years, performing at venues all over their home state of Oklahoma as well as in venues throughout Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri, including the Kansas City Jiggle Jam. The Sugar Free Allstars also maintains a grown-up music career playing their “free-wheeling groove machine” (VOX magazine) style of music at clubs and other venues across the United States and Europe.

Their 2007 debut release Dos Niños brought them national attention and acclaim, including selection as one of the best CDs of the year by the Fids and Kamily critics’ poll and heavy rotation on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s Kids Place Live, where the song “Bathtub Boy” topped their playlists for many weeks. In 2009, the band released its first live concert DVD, Gettin’ Funky with the Sugar Free Allstars, which was filmed at the City Arts Center in Oklahoma City. Their engaging live show has been described as “equal parts Muppet Show and Stevie Wonder.”

The Sugar Free Allstars have been involved with the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation’s MAPS for Kids projects and are on the Oklahoma Arts Council's Touring Roster and the Mid America Arts Alliance's Artist Registry.
